Customs Entry Writer - Import Documentation
Employment Type: Full-Time
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Customs Entry Writer to join our international logistics team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of import or customer broker experience , a strong understanding of U.CargoWise experience is required , and experience with CCS (Cargo Community System) is a strong plus.
Process import documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, arrival notices, and other supporting documents.
Monitor entry status and communicate with customers, carriers, overseas agents, and internal teams regarding documentation or clearance issues.
Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
Provide professional customer service and communicate effectively with customers regarding import shipments and documentation.
1-2 years of experience in import documentation, customs entry writing, customer broker operations, or a similar international logistics role.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook .
- Experience with ACE/Automated Commercial Environment .
Experience working with international customers, carriers, freight forwarders, or customs brokerage teams.
Experience with air and ocean import operations.
