Well-rounded knowledge in most surgical areas except CV and Transplant
This position requires a commitment to work every Saturday and Sunday, in addition to one rotating weekday each week. The registered nurse will be responsible for providing care in the operating room. Call shifts are required, with an expectation of six call shifts in a six-week period, which can vary. Floating within the scope of practice to meet facility needs is required. Candidates must have experience with a range of surgical procedures, including but not limited to general, plastic, gynecological, orthopedic, neurological, and trauma surgeries. The facility accommodates 21 surgical rooms. Candidates must work two out of three major holidays. The ability to adapt to changing circumstances and remain flexible in assignments is essential. This is a weekend-only position, with additional weekdays rotating into the schedule. Candidates will be expected to participate actively in all phases of surgical care, including preparation, circulation, and post-operative management.
