Job Description:

My Rights Law, a California based law firm focused on Criminal / DUI Defense and Injury Law, is seeking an individual with integrity, skills and confidence needed to thrive in a growing practice. This is a criminal defense position in a criminal defense focused firm. If you are not looking for a career in criminal defense law, we are probably not the right firm for you.
To succeed in this role, a successful candidate will need to have results orientation, enthusiasm for criminal law (and ideally some experience in criminal law), and strong interpersonal and communication skills. This position provides a unique opportunity for both training and experience with a criminal defense firm.
Key Responsibilities:
Meet regularly and communicate effectively with clients or taking messages, and transferring calls to the appropriate person
Assisting attorneys and paralegals in making copies and inputting information in the law database
Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, emailing, and faxing
Education:
~ High school or equivalent (Preferred)
