AD Systems is seeking a Machinist with 4 or 5 axis machine expereince. The CNC Machinist is responsible for set-up and machining of production, prototype and R&D parts and fixtures.? This position works cross functionally to ensure on-time and quality delivery. As the machinist, this position is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the equipment.??
40 hours per week required, with opportunity for overtime based on business need.
Machine precision parts for production and R&D utilizing variety of machine tools?
Measure and document cost of producing parts relative to time and materials?
Maintain equipment and perform set up of machines; operate CNC machining & cutting equipment?
and collaborate with programming team.??
Perform work in accordance with Quality Assurance Program policies?and adhere to company safety policies.??
Participate in AJAC apprenticeship, if equivalent education and/or experience qualifications are not already met
Work across multiple shifts?Associates Degree in Machine Tool Technology, 2-year degree in Machine Technology or equivalent training?7+ years' total experience in manufacturing environment with at least 5+ years CNC machinist experience, preferably with 3 and 5 axis machines, including ability to program, setup and operate machine tools; CNC milling machine, CNC cutting, as well as conventional machines?

• Knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, G-code?
• Knowledge of machining high tolerance parts?
• Strong math skills, analytical, and customer service skills.?
• Experience manufacturing to ISO 9000 standards preferred?

The?employee is in an assembly plant/warehouse environment that can be?dusty. May?be working around welding operations. There is a frequent need to stand, stoop, walk, twist, bend, lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and occasionally lift and move very heavy objects and perform other similar actions during the course of the workday. Personal protective equipment will be required and provided. They?also must be able to perform multiple concurrent tasks, read and comprehend the material they?read. 40+ hours per week will typically be necessary to accomplish performance objectives and to provide satisfactory job presence and/or responsiveness?
