TAG MedStaffing is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) in Westchester County, NY for our client, providing direct patient care within hospital-based surgical, operating room, and labor and delivery settings. Multiple full-time opportunities are available across specialty units and shifts, with responsibilities including patient assessment, care planning, clinical interventions, patient safety, and interdisciplinary care coordination. The ideal candidate is a New York-licensed Registered Nurse with required hospital experience and strong acute care, clinical assessment, and patient care skills.

Responsibilities as the Registered Nurse (RN):

Patient Care: Provide direct nursing care in accordance with patient needs, treatment plans, and established clinical standards.
Patient Assessment: Assess patient conditions, monitor changes, and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
Care Coordination: Develop and support individualized care plans while collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Safety & Compliance: Follow established patient safety, infection prevention, quality, and regulatory standards throughout care delivery.
Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support quality patient outcomes.
Qualifications for the Registered Nurse (RN):
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program is required.
Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
Current BLS certification is required, with additional clinical certifications required based on specialty or unit.
Experience: Previous hospital or acute care nursing experience is required.
Strong knowledge of patient assessment, acute care nursing, infection control, patient safety, and current nursing standards is required.
Experience with electronic health records, clinical documentation, patient monitoring, and standard nursing equipment is required.
Skills & Attributes: Strong clinical judgment, assessment, communication, teamwork, organization, adaptability, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment are required.
