CPA/Senior Tax Preparer

Our team works closely with closely held businesses, entrepreneurs, and high-net-worth individuals, providing both technical expertise and practical business advice.

We are seeking a motivated Senior Tax Accountant that has experience working with high net worth individuals and closely held businesses

Client exposure - work directly with business owners, executives, entrepreneurs, and high-net-worth individuals

Tax Preparation & Review:

Prepare complex individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns

Prepare and review multi-state and consolidated tax returns

Review tax work completed by staff accountants

Tax Planning & Advisory:

Assist with tax planning and strategy for clients

Identify tax-saving opportunities and potential issues

Help clients understand the implications of federal and state tax matters

Serve as a trusted resource for client questions and tax-related decisions

Tax Research & Analysis:

Research complex federal and state tax issues

Analyze tax regulations and guidance

Communicate technical tax conclusions clearly to clients and team members

Train, mentor, and review the work of staff accountants

Communicate effectively regarding project status, expectations, and deadlines

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field

• 3+ years of tax experience within a public accounting firm
• Experience preparing and/or reviewing individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns
• CPA license strongly preferred
• Strong tax research and analytical abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Experience with CCH Axcess Tax, Document, and Engagement is a plus
