Reverse Mortgage Underwriter (FHA DE) Location: Fully Remote
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM PST (flexibility available)
Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking an experienced Reverse Mortgage Underwriter to join a growing team in a fully remote capacity. This role is responsible for reviewing credit, asset, income, and collateral documentation and rendering sound underwriting decisions in accordance with HECM and Reverse Proprietary Product guidelines . The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented FHA DE Underwriter with strong reverse mortgage expertise and a commitment to accuracy, compliance, and service excellence.

Analyze credit, income, asset, and collateral documentation to make sound underwriting decisions.
Evaluate files for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and regulatory compliance.
Review third-party reports, fraud reports, judgment searches, and lien searches.
Collaborate with loan officers, processors, and other mortgage partners to resolve file issues and facilitate loan approvals.
Minimum of 3 years of Reverse Mortgage Underwriting experience .
Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with mortgage operations teams.
