RN NEEDED FOR WEEKEND EVENING SHIFTS

Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical
40-hour evening shift, 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm, every other weekend and holiday.
Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current RN license
• ACLS upon hire OR must hold an active BLS card and obtain AHA ACLS within 60 days of hire
• 1 year Med/Surg experience preferred
• PALS preferred

Assess and reassess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions and patient care plans.
Provide patient care based on established standards, protocols, and procedures.
Respect each patient and foster their sense of dignity.
Teach patients and families based on identified learning needs and readiness to learn.
Prepare patients and families for discharge, coordinating necessary support systems.
Delegate and supervise nursing interventions performed by others.
Document all relevant data and therapeutic interventions accurately and timely.
Report on assigned patients to ensure continuity of care.
Promote learning within the nursing team.
Identify risks to patient safety and opportunities to reduce healthcare errors.
Administer medications and IV therapy safely as per orders.
Assess and manage patient pain levels effectively.
Maintain and troubleshoot equipment related to patient care.
