Training & Volunteer Facilitator

The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as a course director and curriculum specialist for the training management functional course director and curriculum specialist for the training management functional course in 6th Combat Training Squadron Formal Education and Training Program, Operational Training Development (OTD).

Plans, develops, executes, and evaluates a comprehensive range of training programs.
based on internal and external evaluation analysis including graduate and supervisor feedback and input from other instructors.
Manages all programming actions associated with the assigned courses. Schedules classes and authorizes allocations to meet annual training requirements.

• Preferred Graduate of the Air Force Basic Instructor Course (BIC), or Classroom Instructor Course (CIC), or Instructional Systems Design (ISD), or Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate (ADDIE) formal training course or civilian/Sister
• (Recent experience in Air Support Operations Groups, Tactical Operations Center (TOC), Air Support Operations Center (ASOC), Air Operations Center (AOC), or Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC), executing
• (con't) close air support or joint fire support operations desired. Experience with computer applications (Microsoft Office) for courseware development used in the classroom and student study.

In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions, Training Instruction Series 1712.
Examples of specialized experience includes knowledge of a wide range of professional concepts, principles, methods, techniques, and practices of one or more specialties of the instructional systems field as well as of learning theory, gained through extended study, experience, and maintained currency with developing trends in the field of learning; Comprehensive knowledge of a wide variety of instructional development methods sufficient to conduct analysis to determine the requirements for revision of existing instructional systems or development of new training programs; Comprehensive knowledge of an extensive variety of instructional program planning methods and techniques sufficient to plan total support, i.e., personnel, equipment, facilities, budget, and other resource requirements. D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.Professional knowledge of learning theory and the principles, methods, practices and techniques of the instructional systems field to administer, advise on, design, develop, or provide educational or training services in formal training programs.
Knowledge of and ability to follow foundational instructional design processes to analyze, research, design and write educationally sound instructional materials and instructor guides for use in classroom instruction and to construct and validate appropriate evaluation instruments to determine level and extent of student learning and achievement.
Knowledge of training resources programs, principles and policies.
Ability to analyze problems related to instructional material or support equipment and develop timely and economical solutions such as develop finished products including lesson plans, training texts, television programs, programmed texts, or computer assisted instruction.
