The Manager, Optical Network Operations Center (NOC). The team tasks included optical networking issue trouble response for break/fix and Operational Readiness, working with clients to ensure maximum availability of services. Position daily activities include performance monitoring, load management, process adherence/improvement, problem management, staffing and performance management.

This position is a remote, work-from-home role based in the United States. The successful candidate must be able to work a schedule that primarily consists of swing and mid shifts , with flexibility to support business and operational needs as required. Availability during evening hours and non-traditional work schedules is essential for success in this role.

Monitors and reports process effectiveness and key performance indicators

Drives consistent, high-quality oversight and trouble resolution for Managed Network DWDM support, customer support, and escalation management.

Implement process improvement strategies for department

Drive client satisfaction through rapid restoration of services

Ensure Successful execution of change management activities

Manages technical workgroup to ensure operational performance standards are met to support Company and department performance objectives

Executes direction, goals, and priorities within Network Operations

Support Senior Manager to attain clean, accurate performance reporting and business planning for the department

Manage and monitor workload and development plans for team

Bachelors degree or equivalent education and experience.
