Job Description Operations Manager
Manage all service, repair and operations processes, employees, and projects. Visit job sites and perform quality audits to ensure that route work is being completed efficiently and in a cost-effective manner.

Includes identifying issues that could potentially affect the overall reliability of the equipment and providing feedback and recommendations for the improvement of future installations.
Use accounting reports and internal systems to review route management and callbacks. Provide technical input to sales staff on the scope of work and materials needed to bid repair or service work. Includes calculating labor and material costs.

• Administer parts program for contract service and repair to meet budget expectations and customer satisfaction
• Efficiently scheduling labor resources and managing performance to estimates.
• Managing an operating budget to ensure the branch service budget is met.
• Responsible for forecasting labor, material, and field performance each month.
• Ensure weekly payroll is accurate and implement changes when needed.

Administer parts program for contract service and repair to meet budget expectations and customer satisfaction.
Use accounting reports and program to review job status to identify risk and opportunity, including properly reporting fade issues prior to revenue.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with owner, contractors, elevator consultants.
Mediate and resolve complaints and problems of external and internal customers, including meeting with local business agents to resolve issues involving union employees.

This role manages subordinate supervisor(s) who supervise employee(s) and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of these units. The individual also directly supervises nonsupervisory employees and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; and addressing complaints and resolving problems. All hiring, coaching, performance management and terminations are to be in coordination with HR support and approval. Bachelor’s in engineering, construction, or business management

~ Job duties are performed within an established office environment under normal lighting and climate-controlled tolerances. When the employee has cause to visit a work site, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places and outdoor weather conditions. Requires prompt, reliable, regular, and in-person attendance at the office to oversee shared services functions and/or employees, normally achieved by working standard business hours.
