About this position
Position Summary
The Psychiatric RN will provide direct patient care. This nurse promotes a culture of patient safety on the unit, works closely with the treatment team to coordinate care and implement interventions, and must demonstrate strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
Qualifications
Minimum Education – Associate’s degree in nursing or equivalent.
Required Registration/License/Certification – Registered Nursing license; BLS and CPI within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Education – Bachelor’s in Nursing or equivalent.
Preferred Experience – Experience in psychiatry; recent hospital experience preferred.
Additional Requirements
No additional education or experience requirements beyond those listed above.
