Senior Corporate/M&A Attorney

LHH Legal Recruitment is assisting a Fortune 500 industry leader is seeking Senior Corporate Counsel, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) to join its highly respected legal department. This is an outstanding opportunity to lead a team of attorneys and legal professionals while serving as a strategic advisor on complex corporate, securities, governance, and M&A matters. Responsibilities:
Lead a team supporting M&A, securities, corporate governance, finance, joint ventures, and strategic transactions
Advise senior leadership on complex corporate and legal matters
Oversee SEC reporting, corporate governance, and compliance initiatives
Manage outside counsel, legal budgets, and department projects
Mentor and develop legal talent
Qualifications:
- JD and active bar membership in good standing
- 10+ years of experience in M&A, securities, and corporate governance matters
- Experience in a large law firm, public company, or sophisticated corporate environment
- Strong leadership, communication, and business judgment
