Job Title: Sewing Operator Job Description

Reports to: Director, Production & Quality Assurance

Responsibilities:

• Cut and sew production orders according to the highest of quality standards;
• Cut and sew samples;
• Track order of operations when necessary;
• Give feedback on order of operations in order to make improvements;
• Keep sewing area clean and organized;
• Vacuum sewing machines weekly;
• Attend production meetings when necessary;
• Assist with quality control when necessary;
• Inform Production and Operations Director when sewing equipment requires maintenance or supplies are about to run out so more can be ordered; and
• Represent Rightfully Sewn at occasional internal events, such as tours and meetings.

• Communicative via email and in-person;
• Able to work on multiple projects;
• Able to work independently but feel empowered to ask questions when necessary;
• Willing to learn and implement advanced production techniques and other best practices;
• Understand production scheduling requirements and adhere to production schedule;
• Possess an approachable, open and honest demeanor;
• Can meet or exceed metrics in safety, quality, cost, and productivity;

• Willing to learn new things and adapt with growing organization.
