Production - Masker

This position will start out in our Titusville, Florida plant. We are moving our business to a new location within the next few months. We will be relocating to Edgewater Florida. Applicants must be able to make this transition.Reason position exists: Applies protective masking (areas not to be plated) to metal parts according to customer specifications.Primary Job Responsibilities:Ensure timely production of high quality products to customer specificationsApply tape, liquid masking (paints), plugs, etc. to parts in accordance with established practices and procedures to satisfy customer specifications.Follow written and verbal work instructions to ensure accuracy of each projectSelect and use proper tools (paint brush, plug size etc)Follow company policies, work processes and documentation requirementsAdhere to all company policies and proceduresFollow work instructions, schedules and documentation requirementsFollow all NADCAP; AS9000; ISO and other regulatory requirementsCommunicate constructively with coworkers, leads and supervisorShare relevant information, questions and concerns with leads and supervisorsEnsure a safe work environment for myself and othersFollow safety rulesReport injuries and hazardsStrive for continuous improvementOther duties as apparent or as assigned to meet business needsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:Ability to read, write, speak and follow instructions in workplace EnglishStable employment record in roles requiring strong attention to detail, dependability and commitment to qualitySteady hands with strong finger dexterity, enabling precision painting and maskingHigh school diploma or GED**Attributes: **Strong customer focus and solutions orientationMust possess strong attention to detail and time management skillsJob Demand:Frequent sitting and working with others in a team atmosphere. Consistent working with hands and fingers, concentrating, seeing, hearing, reading, working with paint and working indoors. Must be able to lift and carry 30 lbs.
