Overnight Security Officers Needed - Daily & Weekly Pay

WHAT WE PROVIDE Â

This is a position at Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Splashtown, in Spring, TX. Pay: $15.50/Hr

Responsibilities:

Interact with guests providing directions and assistanceÂ

Protect employees, guests, and company propertyÂ

Enforce Park policiesÂ

Control Park access, checking vehicle permits and scanning ID badges for team members, vendors, and contractorsÂ

Patrol and inspect assigned areas of the parkÂ

Keep unauthorized personnel out of restricted areasÂ

Greet and screen entering through metal detection and check their bags for prohibited itemsÂ

Rapidly respond to active alarms, first aid, and other emergency situationsÂ

Monitor all areas for safety hazards, including fire, theft, and vandalismÂ

Maintain ride queue lines, sending line jumpers to the back to ensure an efficient boarding processÂ

Write detailed reports of damage, incident logs, and security recordsÂ

Apprehend violators, including on-foot pursuits when necessaryÂ

Escort guests and team members as needed for assistance and protectionÂ

Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to safetyÂ

Strong attention to detailÂ

Enforce all park policies and proceduresÂ

Cautious and reliableÂ

Remain calm in emergency situationsÂ

Performs all other duties as assigned or as necessary to support the Public Safety Department and Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Splashtown.Â

Qualifications:

Must be 18 years or olderÂ

Able to lift, carry, and balance heavy loadsÂ

Physical qualifications to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and reach throughout your shiftÂ

Excellent verbal and written communication skillsÂ

Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidaysÂ

The ability to stand and walk for long periods of time outdoors in various weather conditions including extreme heat and sun.Â

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Â

Ability to walk, run, bend, stoop and crawl on uneven terrain.Â

Ability to withstand varied environmental conditions such as extreme heat, cold, moisture, dryness, etc.Â
