Job Description This position will require assisting customers with selecting and purchasing items in the bakery department while also delivering great customer service. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Bakes off pastry case items such as muffins, croissants, scones etc according to set times
Makes a variety of parfaits, dips, and other bakery specific items while following written recipes
Is comfortable using commercial baking equipment such as ovens, knives, bread slicers, etc.
Stocks and rotates bakery merchandise as directed
Assists customers with orders placed
Maintains clean and organized work area free of hazards in accordance with food safety best practice
Provides exceptional customer service
Keeps a positive and helpful attitude during length of shift
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Proper phone etiquette while taking orders or messages
