Role Description : The Loan Officer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Seattle, WA. The Loan Officer will guide clients through the mortgage application and approval process, including assessing financial information, explaining loan options, and recommending suitable products. Day-to-day responsibilities include originating new loans, collecting and verifying documentation, collaborating with underwriting and processing teams, and ensuring loans comply with regulatory and company standards. The Loan Officer will build and maintain relationships with clients, provide responsive customer service, and follow up proactively to ensure a timely and smooth closing experience. Demonstrated experience as a Loan Officer, with a strong understanding of mortgage products and lending processes.

Solid knowledge of finance principles and practices related to residential lending.

Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and maintain long-term client relationships.

Proven experience in loan origination, including prospecting, application intake, and pipeline management.

Ability to work collaboratively with internal partners and comply with all regulatory and ethical standards.

Relevant state mortgage loan originator license (or eligibility to obtain), and prior experience in the Seattle or broader Washington housing market is a plus.
