Operating Room NurseProfession: RNSpecialty: Operating RoomDuration: 13 weeksShift: 12hr Day ShiftHours per Shift: 36Experience: Minimum of 5 years requiredLicense: NC RN licenseCertifications: BLS; CNOR preferred but not requiredDescription: The facility is licensed for 457 beds and is a Level 3 Trauma center. The patient types and common diagnoses include Trauma, ortho trauma, ortho total joints, spine, hearts, vascular, GYN, GYN-Oncology, Robotics, General surgery, HPB, Bariatrics, Urology, ENT, Eyes, Pain, and Plastics. The ideal candidate will have experience circulating in a variety of surgical cases. Weekend rotation includes coverage requirements every fourth weekend. There may be on-call shifts with an average of six call shifts per six-week schedule. Travelers can expect to work holidays, approximately 75% of the holiday schedule.
