SA Recycling Job PostingSA Recycling offers:Competitive payChoice of 2 medical plans, with dental, vision, and life insurance401k with a company matchWeekly payReferral incentivesCompany provided uniforms and PPEEligible for safety and profitability bonusesEssential responsibilities of welder:Performs repair and maintenance assignments for a metal recycling shredder and other industrial equipment.Welds various steel components with ARC and MIG welding equipment.Cut, trim, fit and fabricate metal components to fit specific dimensions.Perform related work such as flame cutting, bending, forming, beveling, notching of metal and plastic parts.Maintains accurate records of all work performed.Work from prints, drawings, and verbal instructions.Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate/OSHA standards.Qualifications of a welder:High school diploma or GED; graduation from a trade school preferred.3+ years' experience in welding processes such as MIG, stick, and torch welding on a variety of materials.Recycling industry experience preferred.Advanced knowledge of welding fabrication tools and techniques.Knowledge of federal, state, and local job site health and safety rules, regulations and best practices; understanding of potential job hazards.Ability to safely work at varying heights, in tight quarters, and varying positions.Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) a plus.Physical requirements:• Work environment: scrap metal facility office • Equipment & tools: PC, MS Office Suite, dispatch software • Physical demand level: light to moderate • Work capacity: welder work capacity • Sensory demands: hearing & vision • Hand movements: repetitive motions, keyboardPlease note: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job.
