Position Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for storing, cooking, and helping to prepare nutritious high-quality food and a superb dining experience for residents at the community.
Essential Functions, Key Duties, & Responsibilities
Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as per recipes.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives and other culinary tools.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during busy periods.
Assist in identifying food and supplies needed for the next week’s menus and report to the dining leadership team.
Prepare meats for storage and portion control upon delivery; ensure proper handling, storage and labeling of all delivered foods and ingredients.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering when necessary.
Maintain a clean, orderly, safe, and sanitary kitchen
