We have an urgent need for Welder candidates.

Position: Welder
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10 hours per day (5:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.) Overtime: Based on production schedule; Saturdays scheduled in advance. Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour. Required: Must have a welder's hood and full PPE
Job Duties

Perform welding and associated activities including grinding, painting, cutting, and other tasks in a steel fabrication shop.
Conduct visual quality checks and self-inspect work as instructed.
Follow all environmental, health, and safety requirements.
Safely operate shop equipment such as grinders, shears, cranes, and related tools.
Participate in training for quality procedures, equipment use, and safety compliance.
Requirements
Must be a certified welder , unless otherwise specified.
Experience with vertical welding is a plus.
Candidates will be tested during the interview , including a vertical-up weld on test coupons, which will be sent to a testing facility.
All welders must be AWS D1.1 qualified .
Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs alone and up to 100 lbs with a partner .
Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment .
Must be able to work in various postures, including flat, vertical, and overhead welding, as well as bending, reaching, and twisting.
Must be able to wear a respirator when required.
Must understand and speak English .
Must have a good work ethic .
Must have a clean background for the past 5 years .
Must have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent .
Must have a stable work history (example: at least one job held for 3 years).
