Travel Nurse Home Health RN Day Shift Job

Registered Nurse, Telemetry (Tele) – Bakersfield, California, United States. This travel assignment begins 08/17/2026 and runs for 8 weeks in an inpatient, acute-care telemetry setting. Expect a 36-hour workweek on 12-hour day shifts (3 days per week). This travel temporary position is with Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Weekly pay: $2,111–$2,214 per week

• Contract duration: Shift: 3x12-hour days
• Setting: inpatient, telemetry-focused care within an acute-care environment
• Travel assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC

Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.

• Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
• Monitor patient status, administer medications as appropriate, document care, and respond to changes in condition.
• Participate in care coordination, patient education, and discharge planning as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety and quality of care throughout the shift.

Active Registered Nurse license in California

• Telemetry or acute care nursing experience preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts on a 3x12 schedule (3 days per week)
• Willingness to participate in a short-term travel assignment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate care across disciplines
