Number of beds: 20
Staff: 40 total - day shift: 1 charge nurse, 5 nurses, 3 techs; night shift: 1 charge nurse, 5 nurses, 2 techs
Patient ratio: 1:4
Equipment: Vents, feeding pumps, IV pumps, wound vacs, specialty beds, suction, chest tubes
EMR: Meditech / CPN
Responsibilities
Place and manage chest tubes
Perform bedside bronchitis procedures
Manage trauma patients, trach / suction
Provide acute care for a highly complex patient population
Qualifications
RN license
Minimum 1‑year acute‑care hospital PCU experience
BLS/ACLS certification (preferred)
Prior Meditech experience (preferred)
Compensation & Benefits
Pay based on 12‑hour shifts; 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation)
Tax‑free stipend (amount to be determined)
Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
Contract: 13 weeks
