Specimen Accessioner- Entry Level Healthcare Position!

The Specimen Accessioner will be responsible for performing clinical specimen accessioning, sample sorting and data entry in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment according to established standard operating procedures.

Saturday 10:30 am - 7:00 pm. Required overtime as needed.

Hourly Pay: $17.75/hr

Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Casual, PRN & Part Time employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan only. Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing

Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities

Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner

Resolve and document any problem specimens

High School Diploma or equivalent

Strong data entry and organizational skills

Proficiency in MS Office

1-2 years of prior clinical/lab experience
