HOURLY RATE $21.00-$22.50

Demonstrates and adheres to working knowledge a Community Emergency Response Team Certification. Assists in the training of new Security Officers in company standards. Security policies and procedures.

Helps promote health, safety and liability awareness. Patrols industrial and commercial premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensures security of doors, windows, and gates.

Monitors and authorizes entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.

Writes reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.

Calls police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.

Notifies management immediately if any illegal activity is conducted during business hours.

Reports any incidents of theft or unauthorized possession of company property to management immediately.

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.

Computer Skills: Knowledge of MS Office, e-mail and internet preferred.

Certificates & Licenses: CPR/FA/AED Certificate, Community Emergency Response Certified, Basic OSHA Certified, Fire safety Certified.

Amount of Travel Required: 50% to 75%
