Buyer, Procurement (Technology)

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated provides enabling technologies for industrial growth markets that require advanced technology and high reliability. These markets include aerospace and defense, factory automation, air and water quality environmental monitoring, electronics design and development, oceanographic research, deepwater oil and gas exploration and production, medical imaging and pharmaceutical research.

Evaluates, selects, places, and expedites assigned procurement contracts or portions of a procurement contract of limited complexity, diversification or expense. Coordinate activities related to procurement of a commodity beginning with intent to purchase through delivery.

Assures that the commodity is delivered on schedule, at the negotiated price, and meets the quality standards of the company.

Maintains timely control of orders, amendments, shipping notices, and other documents to assure accurate retention of records.

Daily availability to include evenings and weekends when necessary to reach goals and deadlines.

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in a related field and 0-2 years of directly related experience and/or training; We require all employees to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, rules and regulatory orders.
