The Florida Department of Health in Hillsborough County is seeking a Senior Public Health Nutritionist. The department provides a supportive environment for professional growth and development, including mentorship, training, and tuition reimbursement.

The Florida Department of Health is responsible for protecting, promoting, and improving the health of all people in Florida through integrated state, county, and community efforts. The Senior Public Health Nutritionist will be a member of the Quality Assurance and Training Team for the WIC/Nutrition division. Key responsibilities include performing local agency program reviews, providing training and technical support, monitoring nutrition reports, and direct client services such as WIC certifications and education sessions.

Required knowledge, skills, and abilities include effective communication, understanding of WIC program policies, proficiency in nutrition principles, and computer skills. The minimum qualifications require a valid State of Florida License as a Dietitian/Nutritionist and a Bachelor of Science degree or master's degree in Nutritional Sciences or related fields.
