HR Generalist - Recruiting & Employee Engagement

We are the proven leader in the fan and ventilation market, providing innovative and energy efficient solutions to our business partners and customers.ZIEHL-ABEGG is looking for a high energy and results-oriented Human Resources Generalist who can be a strong contributor to our heavily expanding company. The HR Generalist will be responsible for supporting the HR Department in all areas of the human resources field. This role is responsible for, but not limited to administrative duties, compliance tracking and training, compensation, training and development, apprentice program, employee engagement activities, benefits, and labor laws.Track and manage FMLA and ADA process (understand laws, documentation, and manage the certification and recertification process)Own the offboarding process (meeting with Supervisors and Managers, performance reviews, exit interviews etc.)Support and assist in organizing training and developmentConsults with management providing HR guidance (coaching, counseling, career development, performance plans, etc.)Supports investigations or conflict resolution issues, ethics complaints, and other employee relations issuesSupport Environmental Health & SafetyTrack and audit time & attendanceAdminister and support open enrollment (support the preparation of materials, communication, and presenting information)Administer all leave related topics (such as FMLA, leave of absence, and Worker's Compensation)Organize and run employee engagement activitiesOrganize and maintain personnel records and update internal databasesParticipate in HR projects and other projects as assigned (i.e. support with staffing needs)Partners with recruiting acting as back-up and working to identify and retain high quality talent.Maintain a high level of confidentialitySupport International constituents, as neededAll other duties as assignedJob Requirements:Proven work experience as an HR Generalist, HR Specialist, or relevant role (3 years minimum)Thorough HR knowledge, especially in benefit and US law related questionsComputer literacy (MS Office and HRIS system)Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects.Tuition Reimbursement Program- We encourage team members to continue their education to support their current or future work.We offer a comprehensive benefits package including Health, Dental and Vision options.Company-paid Life insurance, Short and Long-Term Disability insurance, and Parental leave.401(k) retirement account with a generous company matchPhenomenal work life balance offering twenty (20) days of Paid Time Off (PTO) per calendar year.Holidays totaling eleven days (11) per calendar year including a floating holiday of employee's choice.Career advancement and training opportunitiesWe welcome candidates from all backgrounds and are dedicated to providing an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and supported.
