Employee Relations & LeadershipServe as a trusted advisor to managers and employees.Conduct workplace investigations and resolve employee relations matters.Coach managers through performance management, corrective action, and employee development.Draft disciplinary documentation and ensure fair, consistent application of company policies.Compliance & Risk ManagementEnsure compliance with California labor laws, federal employment regulations, and HR best practices.Maintain company policies, employee handbook, and required workplace postings.Partner with leadership on risk management and organizational compliance.Manage workers' compensation claims and return-to-work processes.Performance ManagementLead the company's performance management process, including:90-day new hire reviewsAnnual performance evaluationsOngoing manager check-insPartner with leadership on compensation recommendations, performance improvement plans, and employee development.Employee EngagementDevelop initiatives that strengthen workplace culture and employee engagement.Help create an environment where employees can succeed and grow.HR OperationsSupervise and develop one HR Generalist.Manage Paylocity and HR systems.Oversee onboarding, offboarding, employee records, reporting, and HR documentation.Develop HR strategies that support company growth and operational excellence.RequirementsWhat We're Looking ForRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Four or more years of progressive Human Resources experience.Experience managing employee relations, benefits administration, workers' compensation, and HR compliance.Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments.This isn't a role where you'll simply maintain HR processes.
