Mechanical Engineer - Product Development

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our growing Product Development team in Coral Springs, FL. This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative products from concept through production, owning the full product lifecycle and seeing your designs come to life.

This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys hands-on product development, 3D design, testing, problem-solving, and collaboration with manufacturing teams. You'll work on specialized mechanical systems that support critical industries including water treatment, food production, and energy infrastructure.

Lead and support new product development projects from concept, design, and prototyping through production release.

Create 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks and other CAD tools.

Perform engineering calculations, design analyses, and validation activities to ensure reliable and robust product performance.

Plan and execute product testing, including development of test procedures and evaluation of results.

Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and operations teams to support production and continuous improvement initiatives.

Identify and implement product enhancements based on performance data, customer feedback, and field observations.

Develop engineering documentation including specifications, design records, test reports, and quality-related documents.

Work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into practical engineering solutions.

Support products throughout their lifecycle, including troubleshooting, redesigns, and manufacturing optimization efforts.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.

Experience with mechanical product design and development.

Strong proficiency with SolidWorks and 3D CAD design.

Understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals, including design calculations and analysis.

Experience creating manufacturing drawings, engineering documentation, and technical reports.

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Exposure to prototype development, testing, and validation activities.

Experience using ANSYS or other FEA/simulation software.

Knowledge of pumps, motors, rotating equipment, fluid systems, or industrial machinery.

Customer-facing engineering experience or technical support experience.

Mandarin/Chinese language skills are a plus.

Exposure to design, testing, manufacturing, and customer interaction.

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Coral Springs, FL.
