Orthopedic Surgeon For Total JointsNon-profit Health System seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon for Total Joints in Santa Fe, NM!The Health System is an award-winning integrated delivery system.Clinic is the area's preferred multi-specialty medical group, with more than 750 Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers representing 41 specialties in 82 locations serving Northeast Texas across 41 counties.Clinic is a physician led group with its own board of directors.Benefits Include:Compensation: $800K+ in total incomeSign-On Bonus/Relocation PackageCME AllowanceMalpractice with tail coverageRetirement with employer matchMedical/Dental/Vision BenefitsPaid time away from practiceNo state income taxH1B VisaAbout The Role:Ortho Surgeon - Total JointsLocation: Santa Fe, NMWe are looking for a dedicated orthopedic surgeon to join our expanding team and help provide exceptional care to our patients.While we prefer a full-time physician, this role offers the flexibility of less-than-full-time employment, as mutually agreed upon with the employer.The physician in this role will have the opportunity to perform surgical procedures specializing in joint reconstruction (ROSA® robots available), design and implement individualized treatment plans, encompassing preoperative and postoperative care, rehabilitation, and patient educationManage approximately 24-28 pre-and post-op patients on clinic daysCollaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver holistic and personalized careMaintain accurate, comprehensive medical records, documenting patient progress, surgical outcomes, and follow-up care plansUtilize EPIC EMR in all practice settingsParticipate in monthly total joint committee membership meetingsParticipate in light practice call (phone-based) with no hospital visits required. Call coverage involves 1-week block rotations shared among 18 providersWork with a 1-to-1 physician-to-advanced practitioner ratioProvide care at the main orthopedic clinic and the main hospital campus, located approximately 2.6 miles apartOccasionally mentor family medicine residents during their rotations, coordinated by the orthopedic clinic managerReceive referrals from a wide range of sources, including internal organization providers, local emergency departments, urgent care centers, and community partners from across Northern New MexicoQualifications:Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery with Fellowship in Total Joints / Adult ReconstructionMust also possess an unrestricted New Mexico Medical License or be eligible to be licensed in the state of New MexicoH1B Visa
