Traveling Field Construction Welder
If you're a skilled welder who thrives in the field - working from blueprints, solving problems hands-on, and delivering quality welds where performance truly matters - this role was built for you.
As a Traveling Field Construction Welder , you won't just be welding parts. You'll be fabricating and repairing semi-complex components that support critical construction and industrial operations. Your craftsmanship, accuracy, and commitment to safety ensure that structures perform as designed in real-world conditions.
Your welds directly impact safety, performance, and structural integrity
You'll work across multiple welding processes - not just one
You'll support real construction and field operations - not just shop work
You'll have access to training and AWS certification opportunities

Performing welding operations using SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, GMAW-P, TIG, and Carbon Arc welding
Fabricating and repairing semi-complex parts from raw materials
Following red-line changes and recommending process or design improvements
Troubleshooting welding machines and equipment issues
Entering labor hours into the ERP system (SAP)
Supporting daily housekeeping and 5S initiatives
Working closely with supervisors, managers, and peers to deliver quality work on schedule
Meeting internal and external customer expectations consistently
You'll support field and construction operations , fabricating and repairing components that must meet exact standards in demanding environments. Your work contributes directly to job-site success, safety, and customer satisfaction.
High school diploma or equivalent

• 2+ years of relevant welding or fabrication experience (or equivalent education and experience)
• Carbon Arc welding

Willingness and ability to obtain AWS certifications (training provided)
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating with field and shop teams
