Part-Time Endodontist (Dentist #)

Endodontist PositionMajor Duties and Responsibilities:The Endodontist will have earned a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree and will have completed an ADA accredited training program in Endodontics. Board certification in Endodontics or board eligibility in accordance with the rules of The American Board of Endodontics is preferred.The individual will be experienced and competent in all phases of Endodontics including anterior, and posterior as well as apical surgery.The individual must be proficient in assessment, diagnosis, treatment and post-treatment care in all the above areas. They must be trained and competent in providing Basic life Support (BLS). They must be able to manage medically complex patients and provide appropriate prosthodontic treatment.The individual must be proficient in assessment, diagnosis, treatment and post treatment care in all the above areas.The individual must be able to work collegially with other dentists and physicians, and should possess the skills, both interpersonal and professional, to work with residents in all areas and specialties of dentistryAssignment includes advanced understanding and use of the computerized record system.Work is assigned by the Chief or Assistant Chief of dental as well as other providers as indicated dentist. The Endodontist plans and completes tasks based on established protocols/accepted dental practices.
