As a Security Officer Checkpoint Screening in Grand Rapids, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure, welcoming environment by screening individuals and/or materials, monitoring assigned areas, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting efficient operations. Position Type: Part Time
Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities.
Monitor access points, verify credentials and shipping-related documentation, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to site leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
