Metropolitan Companies is looking for an HR Recruiter/Generalist to join our team! We are looking for a reliable and energetic person to join our recruiting team. The Recruiter is responsible for the recruiting processes to fill the staffing needs of supported divisions. This position will perform full cycle recruiting, from sourcing and screening, and working with candidates up to their first day. This position will report to the Recruiting Manager.

Work with Hiring Managers in support of recruitment strategies to identify labor markets for all positions at the company. Identify ways to source candidates, including job boards, external opportunities, employee referral bonus program, etc.

Utilize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to effectively manage applicants through the onboarding process.

Take candidates through the process of phone screen, interviewing, creating and extending offer letters (and additional documents), pre-employment process.

Maintain, refresh, and deliver New Hire Orientation Program.

Attend job fairs, recruiting events, as required.

Process required paperwork associated with new hires to include employee referral forms, etc.

Assist with HR Generalist administrative duties as needed.

Assist with HR projects as required.

Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

Ability to handle confidential data.

Strong organizational skills and project management.

Bachelor's degree is required; degree in HR or related field is preferred.

Minimum 2 years previous experience recruiting both exempt and nonexempt positions is preferred.

Previous experience using ATS is a plus.

Previous experience using social media to recruit is a plus.

Ability to meet moderate travel requirement to attend recruiting events or to conduct interviews at other locations when needed.
