Job Description
Title: General Cardiology Medical Assistant
Schedule:
- Shift: Days, Mon-Fri, 5x8hr (08:30-17:00)
Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:

• Current state license (or COMPACT if applicable)
• BLS certification
• Minimum of 0.5 years (6 months) Medical Assistant experience
• Experience with EPIC charting system required
• Preferred: Cardiology clinic experience; primary care experience will be considered

• Rooming patients and taking vitals, including height/weight and pulse oximetry
• Performing 12-lead EKGs
• Conducting telephone triage and processing authorization forms and medication refills
• Verifying insurance and handling pharmacy/prescription calls

• Reliable personal transportation required; public transit not acceptable
• Confirm any requested time off with the hiring manager prior to submission
