Tripod Partners is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Travel Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse (RN) for an exciting 13-week assignment in San Luis Obispo, California. In this role, you will provide safe, high-quality, patient- and family-centered care in a fast-paced emergency setting, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while delivering rapid clinical interventions and promoting positive patient outcomes.
As an ED Registered Nurse, you will perform comprehensive patient assessments, prioritize care using sound clinical judgment, recognize changes in patient condition, and deliver timely emergency nursing interventions. You will administer medications and treatments, monitor patient responses, accurately document clinical outcomes, and collaborate closely with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional emergency care to the San Luis Obispo community.
You will care for a diverse range of emergency patients, provide education and support to patients and their families, and ensure smooth transitions throughout treatment and discharge. You will also supervise and delegate responsibilities when appropriate, support colleagues, and contribute to a collaborative team environment focused on delivering outstanding emergency care.
This is an Auto Offer opportunity working night shifts (4x12s, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM). Candidates must hold current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications, along with recent Epic EMR experience, all of which are required for consideration.
The successful candidate will participate in quality improvement initiatives, uphold patient safety and regulatory standards, and help maintain an efficient, patient-focused Emergency Department. This opportunity in San Luis Obispo, CA is ideal for an experienced Travel ED RN who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care and clinical excellence. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 48 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
