Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Pediatric Cardiac Sonography experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in pediatric sonography.
• Must be knowledgeable and experienced with ECMO procedures, to assist with bedside ECMO weans and catheter placement.
• Must have extensive understanding of congenital and unusual forms of non-congenital heart disease.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Fetal echo encouraged.
• Adult echo a plus.

Preferred Credentials:
- Registry in Pediatric Echocardiography preferred.
Special Requests:

Unit Details:

• Performs echocardiographic studies across fetal congenital 22+ weeks, pediatric heart disease, and adult congenital echocardiography.
• Covers NICU, PICU, and Cardiac ICU.
• Duties include recognizing and triaging emergent situations, providing written communication to cardiologists, equipment maintenance, and logging and billing procedures.
• Uses PACS/Fuji CV Synapse and Philips floor equipment.

Shift & Scheduling:

• No weekends.
• No call.
• Closed on major holidays.

14 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS))
