Registered Nurse, Emergency Room (Night Shift)
ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Emergency Room (Night Shift) in Reno, Nevada.
Reno, NV
This is a 13-week contract position.
3x12 Night Shift, 1900-0730. May require working major holidays and is required to pick up one additional shift every four weeks. Schedule may include weekends.
This position provides optimal patient care utilizing knowledge and skills within the nursing process, accountable for individualized patient outcomes throughout the entire episode of care. The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room will provide comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including their families and caregivers, within a highly busy and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in the Emergency Room.
Coordinate care between other healthcare professionals as needed.
Demonstrate knowledge of the cognitive and psychosocial needs of the specific population served.
Maintain an ongoing commitment to professional growth and development.
Engage families and significant caregivers in the assessment and planning process as appropriate.
Required Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room experience.
Prior travel experience of one 13-week assignment required.
Certifications/Licensure:

Nevada RN license required prior to start.
AHA BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and ENPC or PALS certifications required.
