Job Summary
We are looking for Cashiers to manage carry‑out transactions with customers accurately and efficiently, while also delivering food to tables in our restaurant. The role includes overseeing in‑house orders and ensuring each food order is correct. You will help keep transactions running smoothly, maximizing customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Manage transactions with customers

Facilitate online orders through the restaurant POS system

Answer the phone and take carry‑out orders

Take in‑house to‑go orders

Double‑check all orders

Know the food menu and table numbers

Collect payments in cash or credit

Issue receipts and provide change

Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas

Demonstrate strong communication and time‑management skills

Ensure customer satisfaction

Manage third‑party delivery apps such as DoorDash, UberEats, Caviar, Postmates, and Grubhub

Other Functions

Fill in as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operation, as directed by the manager or supervisor

Comply with health and food safety standards, restock items, and clean

Operate the cash register, answer the phone, provide great customer service, and follow company policies and procedures

Take on other responsibilities assigned by management

Physical Functions

Stand and walk for a minimum of 8 hours as needed

Maintain well‑paced and frequent mobility for up to 8 hours

Frequently reach, feel, bend, stoop, carry, manipulate and key in data

Work in both warm and cool environments

Operate in noisy surroundings from music, customers, and employees

Tolerance of allergens including peanuts, eggs, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood, and shellfish

Qualifications & Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Excellent customer service skills in a fast‑paced environment

Positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with restaurant staff

Capable of doing high‑quality work unsupervised

Willing to follow instructions and ask questions for clarification

Able to work in a standing position for long periods

Excellent customer service in a fast‑paced environment

Safe to lift and maneuver trays of food when necessary

Accurate money handling and point‑of‑sale system operation

Comfortable working in a busy restaurant environment

Restaurant experience is a plus

Knowledge of customer service and POS systems

Certifications
Food Handlers Certification

Compensation Details
Hourly Rate: $19‑20/hr (based on experience). Tip earnings: up to $2‑4/hr extra.
