Cath Lab Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift, 4x10 hours (07:00 - 17:30).

The Cath Lab Technologist will assist in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab, monitoring patients and ensuring their safety during all stages of the processes.

Responsibilities:

Circulate and scrub procedures in the Cath Lab.

Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and interventional catheterizations.

Monitor procedural sedation and assist in the interpretation/management of dysrhythmias.

Support with pulmonary artery line and Swan Ganz monitoring.

Participate in 8-12 days of call per month for STEMI or vascular cases.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab experience required.

Must hold current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and RCIS.

Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
