Maintenance Millwright - Manufacturing

Job Description
We are looking for skilled and dependable Equipment & Conveyor Millwrights to join our industrial construction team. Our work focuses on the installation, maintenance, repair, and replacement of material-handling equipment and conveyor systems, particularly in feed mills, industrial facilities, and manufacturing environments.
Responsibilities

Install, assemble, maintain, and repair industrial equipment and material-handling systems
Install and work on drag conveyors, screw conveyors, bucket elevators/legs, belt conveyors, and related equipment
Perform equipment alignment, layout, and installation according to drawings and specifications
Replace and repair conveyor components, bearings, shafts, sprockets, chains, belts, and other mechanical components
Assist with equipment replacement and upgrades in operating facilities
Read and interpret blueprints, equipment drawings, and installation plans
Use hand tools, power tools, rigging equipment, and other mechanical equipment
Perform rigging, lifting, and positioning of equipment
Work safely from ladders, scaffolding, lifts, and elevated work areas
Troubleshoot mechanical equipment and identify potential problems
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA requirements
Qualifications
Previous millwright or industrial mechanical experience required
Experience working with conveyors, feed mills, grain-handling equipment, or other material-handling systems is a strong plus
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings
Experience with equipment installation, alignment, and rigging preferred
Welding and fabrication skills are a plus
Ability to work at heights and in industrial environments
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must be dependable, safety-minded, and willing to travel to job sites as needed
$100/day Per Diem available for candidates who qualify
