Job Summary:

This Rapid Response Registered Nurse (RN) position in Richmond, Virginia, involves providing high-quality patient care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU). Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) prior to first shift, minimum two (2) years of bedside clinical experience, PCU (Progressive Care Unit) or critical care experience.

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Additional Information: Responsibilities include performing nursing assessments within the first 8 hours of admission, developing individualized care plans, patient education, discharge planning, and supervising ancillary staff. The RN must maintain accurate documentation, communicate effectively across teams, and participate in team-building activities to foster a positive work environment. The role involves ensuring personal and environmental safety, managing supplies and equipment, and maintaining professional growth through continuing education.
