Salary Range: $24.00 To $24.00 Hourly

Chicago Tube and Iron Company is a leader in the metals distribution and fabrication industry. Responsible for assisting the shift supervisor in the efficient processing of customer orders.

Program and operate CNC machines

Operate stand-up forklift and overhead crane to move material in the warehouse

Process orders to customer specifications

Do packaging and general housekeeping

May receive/inspect and verify material count

Maintain safe working conditions in the plant and staging areas to assure compliance with federal, state, and local laws

technical training is preferred.

A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant work experience.

Must have basic computer skills.

Experience in Automatic and CNC machine set-up and operation, or the vocational equivalent of same highly preferred
