AMP is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic Technician in Commerce City, CO.
A maintenance mechanic is responsible for the entire operating facility, repairs, and preventative maintenance (PM), as well as special projects. In addition, the maintenance mechanic is responsible for maintaining all heavy equipment in the facility including balers, sort line, loaders, forklifts. This will include regularly scheduled PM as well as minor repairs on all facility equipment. Inspect the building, grounds, and equipment. The maintenance mechanic works under the supervision of the Plant Manager.
As a Maintenance Mechanic Technician, you will work to:

Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all processing and support systems to specifications consistent with all Federal and State fire, safety and environmental regulations.
Resolve technical issues presented throughout a shift, investigate and identify a solution.
Increase equipment reliability through ownership of continuous improvement and preventive maintenance.
Support/drive hazard identification, risk assessments, and risk controls efforts.
Coordinate with Plant Manager and operations closely
Support preoperative and postoperative inspection of the equipment and ensure necessary repairs are entered and actioned within the CMMS.
Adheres to and ensures all company, and regulatory safety standards and rules are followed
Equivalent of high school diploma or G.Experience troubleshooting hydraulic equipment, circuits, and components
~ Experience with industrial controls (valves, sensors, actuators, control systems, Electro Hydraulic Experience, conveyor (tracking), rollers.
Experience selecting appropriate circuit protectors, wire and cable, sensors, safety hardware, PLC hardware, remote I/O, VFD and servo systems.
Salary & Compensation Information: $32.00 - $36.00 per hour

Typical Physical Requirements: The following physical activities or abilities are commonly, but not always, associated with the performance of this position. Lift, carry and push/pull up to 45 pounds without assistance.
The ability to stand, climb, bend, twist, and lift materials or tools as needed
The ability to speak, read, and write in English.
Overtime and call-in work may be required.
Ability to work in an open building environment with exposure to the elements.
