Job Description:Are you a detail-oriented leader with a passion for maintaining operational excellence in a warehouse environment?As a Warehouse Supervisor at Alliance Ground International (AGI), you will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with safety standards. Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, sorting, and dispatching of cargo.Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.Train and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.Conduct regular inventory checks and ensure proper documentation of cargo movements.Monitor and maintain the functionality of warehouse equipment and infrastructure.Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure seamless cargo handling and delivery.Cooperate with their manager/supervisor to ensure compliance with any legal requirements imposed on the company.Report any hazards, near misses, incidents, accidents, or dangerous occurrences to their manager/supervisor, who will then follow the procedures outlined in company policies.Carry out work in accordance with information and training provided and any specific safety or security rules or procedures.Fully understand AGI’s Health, Safety, and Security policies.Attend training courses as required by AGI.Ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods in a warehouse environment.Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and safety standards.Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and related tools.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in logistics preferred.Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, with supervisory experience preferred.If work location is in the United States, must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
