Packaging Engineering

The packaging engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining all supplier packing and material presentation to the factory. This requires collaboration with engineering, quality, supply chain, logistics, and manufacturing. Develop in collaboration with the inventory analyst packaging models for all raw materials supporting the plan for every part (PFEP) and total cost of ownership (TCO) modelsTravel to the supply base to understand inbound materials and needed packagingDevelop monitoring tools to ensure and communicate supplier adherence to the supplier packaging policyDevelops and executes test methods, capability studies and protocols for packaging related improvements.
