Pay Rate: $25-$26/hour
Employment Type: Temporary
We are recruiting on behalf of a respected non-profit organization seeking an experienced Buyer to support their procurement team during a period of increased workload . This temporary, full-time, on-site position is based in Chatsworth, CA , and is ideal for a skilled buyer with experience managing high-volume, large-spend purchasing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage purchase orders from start to finish
Work with vendors and internal departments to meet purchasing needs
Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers
Track deliveries and handle returns or order issues
Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation
Resolve invoice or delivery discrepancies
Qualifications:
3-5 years of purchasing or buying experience in a high-volume, large-spend environment
HS Diploma required, AA or Bachelors Degree highly preferred
Prior experience in the non-profit sector is preferred but not required
Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
Proficient in internet-based research and procurement systems
