Fairview Hospital’s 2 South unit is a Med/Surg and Telemetry unit that provides a warm, supportive environment and comprehensive care for adults (18 years and older) with a variety of medical and surgical diagnoses. As an RN, you will deliver exceptional care throughout the patient care journey. You will interact directly with patients and their families, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and provide healthcare education as needed.How You’ll Benefit Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities. Our Center for Workplace Violence Prevention and Caregiver Well-Being sets caregiver safety as a priority, identifying, reporting and responding to incidents and providing safety resources. This is a regular PRN position, with caregivers working various shifts on an as-needed basis.Provide direct nursing care. Implement and monitor patient care plans. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Maintain professional growth and development through ongoing formal and informal education and clinical nursing study.Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program)Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red CrossExternal applicants: two years of recent related nursingInternal applicants: less than two years of experience, but post-orientation/90-day probationary period considered with the Chief Nursing Officer level review and approvalMilitary RN experience consideredPreferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN)Physical Requirements:Personal Protective Equipment:Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.Pay RangeMinimum hourly: $43.00Maximum hourly: $shift differentials, overtime, etc.).
